Trying Out Pixcel-Me
Pixcel-Me is a fun little tool that lets you mix and match facial parts to create pixel-style avatar portraits.
It’s super easy to use, but surprisingly deep once you start exploring the part combinations!
So today, we decided to see just how well we can recreate the characters from the SEKKACHAN universe using Pixcel-Me.
Let’s play and find out!

Recreating Sekka-chan
- Sleepy-looking eyes
- Pale skin
- Low nose bridge
- Long bob-style hair
- Small samurai girl
- Signature color: Red

セッカちゃんWhat’s with this old man face!?
The bangs look like a pompadour…
I look like some pixel version of Josuke Higashikata!
Pixcel-Me Accuracy: ★★★☆☆
Recreating Laika-chan
- Glowing pale-blue skin
- Wears a hat
- Twin-tail hairstyle
- No visible nose, ears always hidden
- Cheerful and always smiling

ライカちゃんThis kinda looks like a character from a Super Famicom golf game…(SNES)
But honestly? Not bad!
If I could just tweak the hat color and add twin-tails—it’d be perfect!
Pixcel-Me Accuracy: ★★★★☆
Recreating 2BIT
- Entire body is metallic
- Has a single eye in the center of his head
- No nose, mouth, or ears
- A visible crack on his head

2BITThis one’s pretty tough…
My eye is in the center, and there’s only one of it. That’s hard to replicate with this tool.
Pixcel-Me Accuracy: ★★☆☆☆
What If the Pixcel-Me Versions Appeared in the Main Story?

セッカちゃんThis content is known for changing its art style depending on the theme… but still…
ライカちゃんI think it still captures the overall mood and world vibe!
2BITLooking at us like this… we’re quite the odd bunch, huh?
Conclusion: When to Use Pixcel-Me
While it has its limitations when it comes to detailed character recreation, Pixcel-Me is still a fun and creative tool—perfect for making stylized icons or avatars.
With the right combination of parts and colors, it feels like you’re building an “alternate universe version” of your character.
It pairs especially well with character-based content, and works great in playful blog posts or comics!
