Creating QR Codes with CorelDRAW

Creating QR codes with CorelDRAW is a straightforward process.
Launch CorelDRAW and navigate to ObjectInsertQR Code from the menu bar.

This action will display a QR code in the drawing window linking to the “http://www.coreldraw.com” URL. To edit the content of this QR code, open the “Properties” window in the docking palette on the right side and select “barcode.”

Choose the information you want to include in the QR code (URL, email address, phone number, SMS, contact, calendar event, location, plain text) from the list box. Enter the address in the URL input field. Click “Verify,” and the QR code image will be updated.

Designing QR Codes

CorelDRAW allows you to freely edit the color, shape, and overall design of QR codes, adding a unique touch to personal or business branding.

Adjust the color of the QR code itself or the background, change the shape of the dots to circles or stars—all within the recognition range of a smartphone camera. These simple adjustments can significantly alter the visual impression.

Given the capability to display text within QR codes, there’s room for creativity. CorelDRAW opens up possibilities to create QR codes that stand out in various scenarios, including social media, websites, businesses, events, and more!
